Over the years as a real estate professional, I have found that too many people claim to be experts in an specific area or segment, however, were found to have several areas or segments of specialties, thus reducing their expertise level.  Here at Zip Code Realty, our agents have a defined area of expertise for both buyers and sellers.

At Zip Code Realty, our agents have an assigned area to practice in.  This area usually consist of 5000-7,500 households.  By limiting the number of homes, the agents can better get to know that area and will attract more sellers as they will sell more homes.  Buyers tend to look in a specific area for the right home to meet their needs.  Our agents will know how to find that home for them, by knowing of all homes for sale, FSBO's, recently expired listings, and potential new homes coming on the market in that area.  In addition, will be able to consult with agents in neighboring areas that may also meet the needs of the buyer.  Plus, marketing is done to sell the home, not to promote the agent.
